SELVA DE LA AMAZONIA
Hello! Today I will write about a country I’d like to visit.
I’d like to travel to The Amazonia. Well the jungle of the Amazonia is not a country in itself, in fact the
jungle share territory between Brasil, Perú, Bolivia, Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador, Guyana, Guayana
Francesa y Surinam. This zone is protected and managed by this nine countries.

The Amazonia is the most extensive rainforest in the world and its varied of flora and fauna allow it to act as a climate balancer for the world. In this place still exist virgin territories, that means they haven't been intervened by human industry. At present the Amazonia is threatened by the stock industry and is that is very sad.
I’d like to visit this place to know and share with the people that protect and care the jungle. Especially
with the amazon women who has come together and named themself as Guardianas de la selva (Jungle
guardians). Nina Siren Gualinga is a ecuadorian woman who defend the jungle and you can know more
about she and her cause in this Ted Talk. I hope you enjoy them.
